Let's be real ladies and gents…in everyday situation, we really don't glam up, right? When running errands, do you really wear heels and wear a puffy skater dress? Honestly, I chuckle when I see some women walking in the mall like a baby calf, in platform 6 inches high heels. I hurt for them!
So today's outfit is basically a laid-back everyday style. It's not uncommon and nothing really special about it but just the comfort of a casual outfit to get your tasks done during the day. A simple button down shirt with 3/4 sleeves like this one from Velvet Heart has become a staple in my closet. I like tops that are easy to wear. I paired it with my "denim" style leggings from Hanes but there are a couple more ways you can style this button down for Spring – think a pair of distressed denim shorts for a getaway or festival look, or style it with a white skater skirt and gladiator sandals. Ahhh! At the beach, you can also use it as a cover up.
Because of its dainty print, I would say that it's also safe to wear for work. I love versatile casual pieces like this. Unfortunately, it's sold out. However, I found a similar style, still from Velvet Heart and I provided the link on the Outfit Recap.
What's your everyday go-to style?
Yup, my casual look is pretty close to this… jeans, t-shirt or maybe a button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, tennis shoes… and maybe a baseball hat to top it off
